These bits can not only get a crazy degree of accuracy, but if you use them (carefully) to freehand templates, it's a guarantee that they'll be able to trace the template perfectly afterwards. The Colt is simply much heavier, and I think it's easier to be heavy-handed when pressing the bit up against a routing template as compared to using the Precision Router Base. The Dremel is much lighter, and maybe I'm just imagining it, but I swear that double-stick taped templates on the surface of the guitar are less prone to slipping while using the Dremel in the router base vs. The Colt router works just fine, but personally, I've found it much less nerve-wracking doing repair/custom work using the Precision Router base and these tiny bits. I've deepened neck pockets with the precision router base and the 1/8" shank guide bearing bit, deepened pickup cavities with ease, routed for new pickups, and more. Only downside with the 1/8" shank bits is that I don't think they make them (yet) with the guide bearing on the bottom. To date, I've done all sorts of jobs with these.
